Laughter. And lots of it. These were the sounds that reached the microphone of the camera as an unsteady hand switched it on, apparently fumbling with the settings before casually aiming it round towards the source of the noises. It looked like some kind of party, with a number of people gathered round a table with gifts and drinks. Most of them weren't too old sixteen, at oldest. Joining them, however, were a number of older people - ranging from early twenties to late fifties, which one could only assume were relatives.
After a few minutes of filming, some hushed mumbling came from one side, before the lights went out. It could only have been early evening though, as enough light still shone through the windows to keep the room at a reasonable brightness. As the camera swung round to the right, a friendly looking woman entered the room, carrying a decent-sized cake topped with lit candles. Fifteen of them, to be exact.
